How we verify happy hours & specials

Eat & Drink Key West helps people compare happy hours and recurring specials around Key West and nearby communities. Every listing shows the evidence available to us, rather than promising that a venue will offer a deal forever.

What the verification labels mean

Verified · user-approved reference

The site owner approved Sherri in Paradise’s Key West Happy Hour Guide and the Key West Food Guide Happy Hour Food Guide as a verified reference on October 9, 2026. These listings use the approved guides’ published deal terms and link to the source used. This status records that approval; it does not represent direct venue confirmation. Missing weekdays or exact clock hours remain unknown and are excluded from time-based results.

Official source checked

We checked an operator-controlled source such as a venue website, menu or local location page. This does not mean restaurant staff personally confirmed the offer.

User-provided verification

A guest supplied direct confirmation or evidence such as photographs of the venue’s menu or on-site signs. The listing shows the verification date and describes the source.

Partially confirmed

Some details are supported, but prices, hours, eligibility or local participation still need confirmation. We keep those limits visible.

Conflicting sources / Needs confirmation

We have not resolved an important difference or do not yet have sufficient evidence. Conflicting or incomplete schedules stay out of time-based finder results.

Hours, prices and restrictions

Times are displayed in AM/PM using Key West local time. Unknown prices are shown as “Ask venue” or described using the supported discount. We show purchase requirements, membership or access limits, bar-only rules and other restrictions when sources provide them.

Food-only specials are identified separately. A food deal does not establish that a venue has a drink happy hour. Promotion dates and exclusions are included when known.

Photos and illustrations

Approved real venue photos keep their source credit. AI-generated illustrations are clearly labeled “AI-generated venue illustration.” They show an imagined setting and should not be interpreted as photographs of the actual premises. Reference photos awaiting publication permission are withheld.

Before you visit

Menus and specials can change. Review the source, check date and restrictions on the venue page, and contact the venue if a detail is uncertain. We do not claim guaranteed availability or invent missing prices.
